The story of PEPA

Most brands start with a 50-page business plan. PEPA CO started with a mountain. Back in 2024, I had a very specific, very vertical dream: together with some good friends, I wanted to climb the Manaslu (one of the highest peaks in the world).

High-altitude dreams come
with high-altitude price tags. So, the plan was simple: Sell some
surf-inspired gear, save every euro, and get to the Himalayas.
Somewhere between the first sketch and the first drop, the mission
shifted. And I fell in love with this new found creative outlet. Now, PEPA CO is the happy innitiative that stayed.

We’re a brand built on a detour, proving that sometimes the best adventures aren't the ones you planned, but the ones you fundedalong the way. We don't want to take ourselves too seriously like all the other extreme sports brands do. there are enough of those. We will take a more lighthearted approach and design for Freedom, but in a "feeling" kind of way! Bright colours, special textures, pieces that tell story... Clothes that make you feel something when you put them on.

As a primarily surf oriented brand, we are not really focussed on performance and competition. Our interest lies in the lifestyle, the creative energy you get from this sport, the stories you make and hear, the people you meet.
